Need Help for a New Project

I am working on a new photo project involving swimming holes. I am currently planning a roadtrip to hit several spots this summer. Do any of you know of any amazing swimming holes or places where people swim that I can't pass up on the East Coast (from Maine to Northern Florida)? Any information is helpful.
